How to get around in Bibione

Ride a bike, explore on foot or call a cab

Stretching on a surface of about 30 square kilometers, Bibione is neither the smallest nor the widest vacation destination. There’s a lot to see here, and you can make the best of your stay on the island if you combine all means of transport available.

You can get around by bus, but there are areas you would better search out on foot. Want to keep fit? Try biking around in Bibione: the resort is fitted with a wide network of cycling paths. Or rent a car or call a cab to fast-forward your outings in and around Bibione.

On foot

Spiaggia and Lido del Sole are great for family fun, packed with entertainment opportunities for all ages. Discover these areas in depth, as well as the off the beaten path attractions in Pineda or Lido dei Pini by simply walking around in Bibione. The best idea of sightseeing if you want to make sure you miss nothing out of the reputed attractions of the island, with minimum disturbance of the calm vibe of the place.

By car

You can always rent a car and comb Bibione throughout in next to no time. However, keep in mind there is a shortage of free public parking on the island. As guest of certain hotels, camping venues or holiday centers, you have free access to parking, but otherwise renting a car is not worth the efforts to find a free parking lot when you need one.

On the other hand, Bibione Spiaggia, the entity in charge with managing the beach, applies an inspired policy that encourages visitors to drive around Bibione: parking is free if you book a parasol on the beach. Which is no effort at all, considering sunbathing is anyway a given for vacationers of Bibione.

By taxi

Calling a cab rids you of the difficulty to find free parking. Taxis also make for a fine idea of airport transfer. Make sure you turn to the services of authorized operators, so you don’t get ripped off.
